Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your VinTraxx SmartScan account and all associated personal data at any time, directly in the mobile app:

1. Open the VinTraxx SmartScan app and sign in.
2. Open Settings (from the account menu).
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are removed immediately.

When you delete your account, we permanently remove the following data:

• Your profile and login credentials (email, hashed password, name).
• Your vehicle scans, diagnostic reports, appraisals, and inspections.
• Your saved devices, VIN usage history, and uploaded images (logo / QR / report PDFs).
• Your push notification tokens and pending password-reset tokens.
• Any GPS trackers paired to your account are unpaired and revoked.

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. We retain information only where required to comply with legal obligations.

If you can no longer access the app, you can request deletion of your account and data by emailing privacy@vintraxx.com from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.
